Shelter FAQs

The Morgan County Humane Society is the only animal shelter located in our county. We provide a safe and loving environment for all homeless pets that enter our facility. We promote spay and neuter with public awareness, along with assistance and referrals for those who need it. Animal Control services are part of our program and are minimally funded by city/county admins. We operate mainly through the donations made by our wonderful supporters and small fundraisers throughout the year. We could not do what we do without the help of our wonderful volunteers, fosters, adopters, donators, staff & board members, and our community supporters!
