Shelter FAQs

We were founded in 1998. Our mission is to rescue abandoned and abused cats from the streets. We socialize them and provide any needed medical care including vaccinations, spaying or neutering, treating for internal and external parasites, dental care, and if needed eye surgeries, bone surgeries, etc. After they are treated they are placed in permanent loving homes. We do not euthanize any cat even if it is deemed unadoptable. They live out their lives with us. We have at any given time 175 to 300 cats and kittens. All are spayed or neutered before placing in homes (kittens receive pediatric spaying or neutering at 2 lbs. or more). We are supported by adoption fees and donations.

Additional adoption info

The first step is to fill out an application. It is reviewed and if approved; the adopter will sign a contract which states that the cat be taken for a wellness veterinary visit within one week of adoption, that the cat will receive any needed future medical care, and that it will remain indoors.
Our fee is $100.00 for under 12 weeks
$90.00 13 wks to 1 yr
$65.00 over 1 yr
**Senior cats for senior citizens are no charge as long as the adopter can afford any medical care that may be needed in the future. They are selected adult cats only for this program
