Grateful Dogs Rescue

Dog rescue in San Francisco, CA

Grateful Dogs Rescue was founded in 1990; its mission is to rescue dogs not made available for adoption at San Francisco Animal Care and Control, and other local shelters, through no fault of their own. Rather than letting these dogs be euthanized, Grateful Dogs saves as many as possible by fostering these dogs in a loving home until a forever loving home is found.

Grateful Dogs Rescue is always in need of new foster homes!  You can make a difference by fostering. The number of dogs we can save is dependent on having foster parents to care for them until they find their forever homes. All of our dogs are in foster care.

The adoption donation helps to cover spay/neuter, shots and other medical care given before the dog is made available for adoption.
