You will need to fill out an application which you can do online at www.hsmcohio.com and click on adopt a pet. The adoption fee for a canine is $115.00 which includes a Home Again Microchip, set of vaccines, wormer, heartworm testing if old enough and spay/neuter. Plus you will have to purchase a county dog tag. The adoption fee for a feline is $60.00 which includes feline LeuK/FIV testing, vaccines, wormer, and spay/neuter.

About Humane Society of Madison County

The Humane Society of Madison County is contracted with the Madison County Dog Warden to take in strays from Madison County. We take care of all stray dogs and owner turn in pets. We also take in cats and kittens. We have a program with the local prison in a foster care/training program. The inmates foster some of our dogs and teach them basic commands and work on housebreaking.
