Rescue FAQs

We are an all volunteer, all breed canine rescue organization.We operate as a 501(C)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving animals,who are going to be euthanized, and placing them in foster homes until we can get them adopted. All animals are given their shots, heartworm tests and preventative , flea preventative, micro-chipped and are spayed/neutered before adoption takes place. If you are interested in any of our dogs, please go to our website, rainbowanimalrescue.net and fill out an adoption application.
We serve all Hampton Roads cities in Virginia, but we can serve any state, if necessary.

Additional adoption info

The fee is $175.00 over 7 months and $200.00 under 7 months. We complete a home check, vet check and reference check, and a background check for pits and pit mixes. We are not a first-come, first-served organization. We only adopt our animals to the best possible home for the individual animal.
