Johnson County Humane Society

We're a nonprofit organization funded by donations. Although we're state-licensed, we don't operate a sheltering facility. Instead, we recruit foster caregivers who take the animls into their private homes until forever homes are found. We support/sponsor humane education aimed at developing more compassion, better understanding, and a deeper appreciation of the diversity of animals in our world. We also work to advance community understanding of the need for animal protection and advocacy.
