For over 40 years, SafeHaven Humane Society has worked to help our communities’ residents be the best humane beings they can be by providing compassionate temporary shelter care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; and population control through spay and neuter programs, instead of euthanasia. Mission Finding Homes…Opening Hearts….Educating Minds to strengthen and improve the lives of animals and people. Vision We envision a community where every adoptable, treatable companion animal has a loving home and where every loving home has the opportunity to care for a companion animal. Values We are guided by the belief that no adoptable or treatable companion animal should be unnecessarily euthanized due to space, time, appearance or treatable conditions. We are committed to: * Giving a new chance to companion animals who would otherwise be discarded. * Strengthening the humane animal bond through education. * Helping people and their companion animals stay together through the support of programs and services. * Leading responsibly with compassion.
We are located in Linn County, Oregon but we serve areas beyond the county.

Please click on the photo of the dog or puppy you are interested in for specific information about the adoption fee. Included in all dog adoptions: * 24- hour Petwatch Microchip * Vaccinations/De-wormer/Flea treatment * Complimentary Veterinary Office Visit (participating local clinics only) * One-month complimentary Shelter Care Pet Insurance (only if activated) * One-hour training consultation * All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption Add-Ons: Heartworm test for $30. Important information about CAT adoptions: Our cat adoption fees vary. Please click on the photo of the cat or kitten you are interested in for specific information about the adoption fee. Included in all cat adoptions: * 24-hour Petwatch Microchip * Cardboard Carrier * Complimentary Veterinary Office Visit (participating local clinics only) * Vaccinations/De-wormer/Flea treatment * Behavioral Support * One-month complimentary Shelter Care Pet Insurance (only if activated) * All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption Add-Ons: Leukemia and F.I.V.
