Rescue FAQs

HNM is a small cat rescue group located in Fairbury, Nebraska. We rescue and adopt out homeless cats and kittens. We also provide advice to cat owners on how to better care for their pets. We have a shelter facility in addition to foster homes. We are open by appointment only.
Fairbury, Jansen, Beatrice, Crete, Lincoln and all others within 200 miles from Fairbury. We also adopt out to Nebraska City, Omaha and surrounding towns. Note: We adopt out to these areas. We are unable to take in cats outside of Jefferson County. We will direct you to other organizations that do. We want to make sure you get the help needed for your particular situation.

Additional adoption info

All our cats for adoption have a fee, paid when adopting. We will ask you to fill out an adoption application, and you must meet the cats in person before adopting. HNM does not adopt to persons under 18 years of age with some exception

Donations can be made at https://www.paypal.me/hnmcatrescue or mail checks to PO Box 194, Fairbury, NE 68352. Please make checks payable to Homeless No More Cat Rescue. If you wish to donate items such as dry/wet food, litter, or other supplies you can do so at Main Street Animal Clinic, 524 E Street in Fairbury.
