Castaway Animal Rescue Effort

C.A.R.E. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals. We are a "No-kill" animal shelter. Our mission is to rescue as many adoptable animals from "Death Row" as we can properly care for. To provide medical treatment for sick or injured stray animals. To combine an aggressive spay/neuter program with a high volume adoption program while providing quality lifetime care for unadopted pets. C.A.R.E. shelters between one and two hundred homeless animals. We rely entirely on the public's kindness and donations to care for our animals. We are not state or city funded. Care's Closet will accept your gently used or new items during our store hours.

You can donate electronically through our website, mail a check to P.O. box 215, Aurora MO, 65505 or drop off a donation to either of our adoption centers, open everyday. All donations are tax deductible.
