Additional adoption info
Promise Animal League, Inc requires an adoption application. A home visit may be required depending on the situation of the animal to be adopted. The adoption fee to adopt a cat or kitten is $75 and includes the spay or neuter, test for FeLv/FIV, rabies and distemper vaccinations according to their age, flea and earmite treatments if necessary, dewormed and micro-chipping.
Dogs and puppies at Promise are available for adoption also. The adoption fee is $100 regardless of breed. The adoption includes rabies, distemper vaccines according to age, bordetella, flea and earmite treatments if necessary, dewormed, micro-chipping and they are tested for heartworm and put on a heartworm preventative.
Please understand that we do not do same day adoptions and it may take up to 2 weeks to process your application. This process helps us ensure that we adopt the animals into the appropriate home for that pet because this is for the rest of their lives which could be up to 20 years in some cases. Please consider this before filling out an application for adoption!
