Serving the Cape Cod’s animal and community since 1921, ARL’s Brewster Adoption Center is conveniently located on Route 6A in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. In addition to caring for domesticated animals, this location is equipped with a stable and paddock to accommodate large animals and livestock.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is committed to matching adoptable animals with a permanent home. Our conversation-based, application-free adoption process is designed so that the needs of both the animal and the adopter are understood and compatible with one another. We require the following as part of the adoption process:
* Adopter must be 18 years of age or older
* A current government-issued ID (no student IDs)
* Have a conversation with an ARL adoption counselor
* A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird
