Interview

We require veterinarian references, personal references and home visits before approving an application.

Meet the Pet

If your application progresses to this step, a home visit will be scheduled to insure proper fit.

Approve Application

Adoption application committee chooses, advises applicant, sets adoption fee and date of adoption.

5.

Pay Fee

PayPal is used to pay the adoption fee

6.

Take the Pet Home

United Yorkie Rescue doesn’t ship their dogs.

United Yorkie Rescue, Inc. was founded on August 5, 2002, by a group of loyal and hard-working rescue friends. We consolidated our efforts and talents to form a family dedicated to the rescue and well being of the Yorkshire Terrier. We have pledged to rescue all Yorkies and Yorkie mixes in need regardless of size, age, or health condition. In addition, we are devoted to providing love, nourishment, rehabilitation, socialization, and "pawesome" forever homes!! So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
