Rescue FAQs

My name is Sean and I LOVE rottweilers. As the head of Rock Rottweiler Rescue, it is my goal to save as many rottweilers as possible from high-kill pounds in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Once these dogs are rescued, they come to my facility in Slippery Rock, PA, where they are evaluated for temperament, and, where appropriate, placed up for adoption to loving, permanent homes. This may sound biased, but I truly believe that once you have had a rottweiler, no other breed quite measures up.
Any area within about a 3 hour drive from the listed location. Mostly western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting a dog or just want more information, contact me at the listed email address or by phone. If you like, you can even send me a text message at the number provided. Honestly, this is likely the fastest way to get a reply. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you want to come meet the dogs, I will send you and application via email. Fill it out and send it back to me. We will set up a time for you and your family to come meet the dog or dogs that you are interested it. If we decide that one of the dogs will be a good fit for you and your family, we will sign a contract that lays out the terms of the dogs adoption. A reasonable adoption fee is required and varies by dog. After that, you get to take home your newest family member and live happily ever after :)
