MISSION STATEMENT •To educate the public in the proper care and treatment of ferrets. •To provide vet care, a proper facility with volunteers who will lovingly care for stray or surrendered ferrets •To educate the public regarding ferret myths, and health issues and other concerns by phone, printed materials, web sites and outreach programs •To provide a place/resource for people who can no longer care for their personal ferret---without any judgmental attitudes. •To provide a service for animal shelters/veterinary clinics who either don’t have the appropriate facility or knowledge to care for stray or surrendered ferrets. •To help families choose the right pet.
