Shelter FAQs

Happy Tails is our name and we are an animal shelter in White County Indiana. Our mission is to get as many animals adopted out to loving and caring families into forever homes. Our love for animals is our main reason and also to save as many wonderful lives as we can. Animals are people two, they deserve a good life. They are a stress release to so many people after a days hard work. Also, to the elderly who enjoy a loving companion. Children learn how to care for and love an animal, and teaches them to care about animals and people. Animals deserve a second chance in life and that is our mission to help them find a loving and caring home.
We are an animal shelter in White County. We are only taking in animals from the city and county animal control. They pick up the stray animals and take them to the veternarians. If the veternarians deem them adoptable they come to us!!

Happy Tails is always in need of volunteers, please email us at happytails@urhere.net and tell us about yourself. We cannot pull the info. on the regular volunteer page. Thank you.
