The Cornelius Animal Shelter is a dual purpose facility, with Animal Control leadership, Volunteer devotion; we've given our animals a great place to visit, and an opportunity to find a loving home.
The Cornelius Animal Shelter accepts animal impounds within town limits only.
Additional adoption info
Adoption Applicants are reviewed, once passed, there is a $85-$95 adoption fee. Once the fee has been collected, the animal is transferred to The Animal Hospital of Cornelius for a final wellness check and spay/neuter if applicable.
