Our fees are non-negotiable. DOGS/PUPPIES: - Fees vary: see pet's description for his/her adoption fee CATS/KITTENS: - Kittens/Cats up to 2 years old - $125 - Cats 2 years and up - $65 ALL adoption fees include: any vaccinations that are given from incoming date to adoption date, heartworm test on dogs over 6 months old, Feline Leukemia Test/FIV test on all cats and kittens, spay or neuter surgery, microchip and microchip registration and any other medical procedure performed prior to adoption. (Such as heartworm treatment, de-worming etc.) IN ORDER TO ADOPT AN ANIMAL, you must: • Be at least 21 years of age • Have legal identification with your current address • Be able to verify that you can have a pet where you live if you rent or proof that you own your home. After your complete an adoption application, it is sent to our review board, this process takes about 2-3 business days. If approved, you will be asked to come back to the facility to complete the formal adoption process. Understand that FUZZY FRIENDS RESCUE reserves the right to deny an adoption for any reason. No animal is more valuable than any other. The difference in fees is to help us cover the expense of caring for the younger animals since they require more vaccinations and medical expense than a lot of the adult animals. Also, the older animals are often over looked and the reduction in their fee will hopefully help place them in homes so they can live out their retirement years being loved in a home environment.
