Rescue FAQs

Safe Haven Animals Rescue Edmonton Society (S.H.A.R.E.S) is a non profit rescue organization, with many of our volunteers having years of experience in rescue and animal care and we have come together to provide a much needed service to Edmonton and surrounding area "MORE RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS MEAN MORE LIVES SAVED" We, at S.H.A.R.E.S. do not have a central facility, but are comprised of a network of foster families who take in the orphans and make them part of the family until a permanent new home can be found. Everyone at at SHARES is a volunteer and we have no paid employees. Safe Haven Animal Rescue Edmonton Society relies solely on generous donations and adoption fees to care for our adoptable pets. We do not receive government grants or funding. Every dollar generated goes right back into the care of our adoptable pets. Canadian Charity number is 81371 1074 RR0001

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees include first set of vaccines and the spay or neuter. We interview potential adopters to ensure the right home for each pet and may do a home inspection.
