Modified k9 Pit Bull Rescue

Modified k9 is a non-profit APBT rescue.

We are not a shelter, we are a very busy Home Based Company "right now", that operates within a very small network of foster homes.

We are dedicated to educating the public on the American Pit Bull Terrier, rescuing & re.homing these very misunderstood dogs.

All of our rescues are temperament tested & evaluated. We look for the best of the best when taking in unwanted pit bulls. We look for the potential ambassadors for the breed & human aggression is NOT an acception at any time.

Every dog that comes through our rescue is neutered/spayed , micro chipped & update with basic vaccs.

*In addition to adoption fees we operate solely on our own personal funds, do donations are much needed.

Mission:
Securing a SAFE future for our American Pit Bull Terrier

**
WE ARE ((ALWAYS)) LOOKING FOR FOSTER FAMILIES TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Additional adoption info

We are not looking to just "find a home" of our dogs. We are looking for the BEST possible forever home for each and every one of our Bully Breeds. Therefore, we do reserve the right to refuse to adopt a dog to any family for any reason.

Modified K9 does not have a shelter. We are a small network of foster homes located all over Pennsylvania.

If you wonder why our adoption process is so lengthy and cumbersome, many of our dogs were emaciated, sick, heartworm positive, covered in fleas, or full of intestinal worms when they came to us. At one time, their owners convinced someone that they would provide a wonderful, loving home....
