Additional adoption info
Saving Companions Rescue focuses on placing dogs and puppies with families and indviduals that are dedicated to the health and well being of the dogs. We have an application which must be filled out in its entirety so that a thorough check can be made before the adoption is approved. SCR believes that a pet is just not a pet but a family member and friend. Because our dogs and puppies are fostered with families in the south meeting them in person is not possible. Great care is given during the screening process to insure that a good match is made. Phone converations & emails with the foster family is not only encouraged, but required. This helps to insure that good match is made and that those who have cared for the dogs/puppies are comfortable with the prospective adotpers. Once a match is made transportation to the new family is arranged thru PETS or another transportation company with an excellent reputation and references from other rescues.
We also work with New England Rescues to help facilitate this process.
Our adoption fee is $400. This includes all vetting (vaccinations, spay/nueter, etc) and transportation to the stop of your choice.
