The Jay County Humane Society is a small, non-profit, limited-admissions shelter committed to finding good homes for stray, abandoned, mis-treated and unwanted animals, and also promoting spaying and neutering of companion pets.

Additional adoption info

To adopt our pets, there is a variable adoption fee, depending on the pet. This includes vaccinations, worming, spay/ neuter, flea preventative and heartworm testing/ preventative for dogs.

We have an adoption application/ agreement for you to complete prior to adoption. You must also provide a vet reference and landlord information (if you rent) prior to adoption.
