Rescue FAQs

Circle Of Hope K9 Rescue is made of up volunteers dedicated to finding loving forever homes for dogs in need. Most of our dogs and pups are removed from kill shelters and from streets where they have been abandoned or dumped. We have little history on them but we evaluate our dogs and pups, to make certain they are family quality animals.
Adoptions across the country! Our Circle Of Hope network is physically in TN, VT, CT, NJ and NY.
Our dogs can be fostered anywhere in the US but available to adopt to your area if they are not local.
Sorry, but at this time we are unable to adopt to MA, NH, ME and RI residents due to strict quarantine and re-vetting laws.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Always the first step. Applications are sent to the volunteer who handles the pup you have submitted the application for.
  2. Interview
    1. Phone interview to make sure we match you with the right pet for you and your family
  3. Home Check
    1. This is only a visit. We are not looking for dust bunnies or care about your clutter!! We want to meet you and allow you to get to know us
  4. Approve Application
    1. This all seems like a long process...it can move quite quickly! You new family member will be with you before you know it!
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. These last few step usually all coincide - signing the contract paying the fee and taking home your new family member!

Additional adoption info

Circle Of Hope K9 Rescue adoption requirements begin with an application approval. All information we have regarding any animal is given up front in order to place the right dog in the right home. Our dogs are mainly removed from the streets and kill shelters and we do not have history on most of them, but we always do evaluation to ensure a quality family dog/pup is put in the right home.
Adoption fee is $465 which includes age appropriate vaccines, de-worming and spay/neuter. Dogs over 6 months of age are heartworm tested and only those that are negative will be available for adoption.
