Rescue FAQs

Central Coast Pug Rescue (CCPR) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of abandoned, displaced, neglected and abused Pugs. We rehabilitate medically needy pugs to ready them for loving permanent homes. All donations, large or small, are truly appreciated, and 100% are applied to the rescue and medical treatment for the Pugs in our care (past, present and future) that are waiting to find loving homes.
We rescue pugs from Oxnard, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and the inland Central Valley of California. We rehabilitate and ready pugs for adoption before they are placed in forever homes.

Additional adoption info

First step is to contact us and fill out an adoption application. We then require a home visit to meet you and your family to ensure a safe, loving home for our rescued pugs. Our fees range from $100 for a senior pug to $350 for pug puppies. 100% of our adoption fees goes to care for rescued pugs.If you are interested in a pug in our care.
