Rescue FAQs

The Lazy L Kennel and Wizard Service Dogs501c trains family pets, provides behavioral counseling and trains service dogs. Being in this line of work we occasionally have a client who is no longer able to keep their pet or a pup that just doesn't work out as a service dog. These pups are then cared for at the kennel while a new home is found for them. We also strive to find our service dog candidates with in the local shelter dog population rather than from a breeder. Wizard Service Dogs always welcome donations to help defray the cost of service dogs provided to the public.
Located Near Lewiston/Auburn, Bethel, Fryeburg, Portland and mid coast Maine

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be able to provide a secure loving home for their pup. Adoption fees start at $200 and may increase depending on the amount of training the dog has received.
