Mickey may have a big personality, and it shows the moment you meet him! This young, bouncy boy first came to us as a stray and quickly won everyone over with his wiggly charm and goofy enthusiasm. He’s the kind of dog who lights up a room and keeps smiles coming.

Mickey is a strong, energetic guy who’s still figuring out the world—think of him as a big puppy who may have missed a few lessons along the way but is eager to learn. He’s super smart and very food-motivated, already knowing sit, down, and paw, which is pretty impressive for such a silly sweetheart.

Since being adopted and later returned, Mickey has grown increasingly frustrated with other dogs. Because of this, any dog introductions will need to be very slow, safe, and handled by someone experienced with introducing large, powerful dogs to one another. Management, structure, and continued training will be key to helping him feel successful.

Mickey loves chew toys, food puzzles, and long walks where he can put his curiosity to good use. With plenty of exercise, routine, and clear guidance, he has all the potential to grow into an incredible companion.
