Rescue FAQs

Town & Country Veterinary Clinic is a full service hospital that also serves as the Shelter for Westworth Village. River Oaks is a small suburb of Fort Worth so we don't get very many animals in. We also don't have a large number of potential adopters due to our small size, but when we do get animals for adoption, we work hard to make sure that they go to a loving home. They are under the care of a Veterinarian during their stay with us and we are more than happy to take special care of them until we find them a forever home.
We are based in River Oaks and have adopted animals into Dallas, Fort Worth and the Metroplex. Our nearby neighbors include Westworth Village, Westover Hills, Sansom Park, Lake Worth and White Settlement.

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption fee is $149 for dogs ($99 for cats). This includes the pet's spay or neuter surgery (depending on gender of pet), all of the vaccines due at the time of adoption, a Rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age) one month heartworm prevention and flea and tick control, deworming, a fecal check, and a heartworm check (for dogs over 6 months of age). This also includes a HomeAgain Microchip placement and registration.
