Rescue FAQs

Mobile Paws is rescue service that focuses on providing transportation for rescue animals. We are not certified to accept strays or owner surrenders, but we do work with shelters all over the east coast to get animals where they need to be. The concept for Mobile Paws was formed in 2012 when founder Bridget heard of a group of young dogs (between the ages of 1-3) that were scheduled to be euthanized because of overcrowding in the shelter they were located at. Flyering and collecting donations within a week Bridget drove from Western New York to Central Florida to pick up the dogs and drove them back to NY to find them homes.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us for an adoption application. After the application is completed and submitted, we will review it for consideration. Please remember to be honest when filling out your application, if you do not have a fenced in yard that do not say you do. If you do not have a fenced in yard but will get one then please specify.
If your application is approved, someone will contact you to schedule a home visit as a final step to ensure that your home is a good environment for the animal. If the home inspection is passed then the adoption contract will be signed by both parties (adopter and rescue representative) and the adoption fee of $150 must be payed in the form of cash.
We put a lot of effort into making sure our animals are the best that they can be before going to their new homes so please make sure your home is the best it can be before applying to adopt!
