Nancy
Sex: Female
Age: 8 years
Weight: 75 lbs.
Breed: Pit mix
Please say hello to a most wonderful lady named Nancy. She’s a senior sweetheart with a heart as soft as her fur. And she has quite the story to tell.
You see, Nancy spent many years being terribly overlooked. She’s had more than her fair share of puppies and far too little love for herself. But, now she’s in a cozy foster home where she’s finally learning what it means to be cherished. And she’s blooming like a spring flower in the sunshine!
Nancy is ever so fond of people. She’ll greet you with the gentlest tail wag and a look that says, “I’m so happy you’re here!” She’s gets along well with other dogs, and is very polite with cats — a proper lady through and through.
She’s a low-energy gal these days, preferring a nice nap on a soft bed (or the couch) to any grand adventures. But every so often she gets a little twinkle in her eye and has a short, playful burst of energy. Then it’s back to her favorite pastime: watching the world go by from her favorite window, like a queen surveying her kingdom.
No need for a crate with this girl; she’s house-trained and has wonderful manners. She’s on a few medications to keep her comfortable, but they’re just part of her daily routine.
Most of all, Nancy just wants love. Pure, simple, steady love. She wants someone to cuddle her, tell her she’s beautiful, and let her know that, at long last, she’s home.
She’s not looking for much — just a chance to give love, receive love, and nap between the two.
So if you’ve got a cozy couch, a kind heart, and room in your life for a gentle soul who’ll adore you every day — Nancy’s the perfect match for you.
If you are interested in Nancy, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
