Rescue FAQs
FairyTails is a 501c(3) non-profit dog rescue serving the central Kentucky area. Our rescue dogs are taken care of by loving foster families or in our facility where they are spoiled until their furever home is found.
We serve the Central Kentucky area of Winchester, Lexington, Paris, Richmond and surrounding areas.
We also allow out of state adoptions to approved adopters.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationEmail fairytailspetadoptions@yahoo.com or submit an Adopt A Pet Inquiry for an application. An application will be emailed to you.
- Approve ApplicationFairyTails volunteers will review your application and provide a decision via email. An approval email will be sent to approved adopters.
- Meet the PetMany of our dogs are in foster homes. Approved adopters schedule an appointment to meet the pet.
- Take the Pet HomeIf you meet the pet and they are a match, you can take the pet home the same day by signing the adoption contract and paying the fee. Yay!
Additional adoption info
Every application received will be reviewed by the adoption team. A decision will be sent via email. Only approved adopters may schedule appointments to meet our pets because many of them are in foster homes. Thanks for your interest in our rescue dogs!
