Rescue FAQs

Fostering saves lives. It’s as simple as that. Instead of trying to escape the thoughts and images of abandoned and neglected cats and kittens, I decided to face the reality head on. To be proactive. Yes, you cannot save them all. But you can make a difference – a life and death difference – on many cats’ lives by fostering. There are other avenues you can pursue as well, such as networking and volunteering. But fostering is one of the most challenging (I know I’ve had a few ‘failed’ fosters ) but rewarding experiences in anyone’s life. I am not a big organization, but one person trying to make a difference. You can make a difference too! Adopt, foster, network or volunteer. Whatever you do, do something. Yours actions (or inaction) matter! Visit my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dfwcatnetwork and spread the word, network, message me if you would like to adopt or foster. If you do not have a Facebook account email kerra31-cats@yahoo.com with your questions or contact information.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $85 for cats and $115 for dogs and it includes spay/neuter and vaccinations.

Adoption application and contract are required. Adoption application is sent to everyone that is interested in an animal. We reserve the right to deny the application. If approved a home check is required to ensure both the well being of the animal and to make sure that the potential adopter connects with the animal and is willing to make a commitment.
