Rescue FAQs

We provide re-homing services to dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them due to entering hospice care. We advocate for the needy, overlooked and forgotten dogs. We have seen what happens to dogs that "run out of time" at a shelter or do not have anyone to care for them. Our group wants to be a part of the solution to end euthanasia due to space. With education, community involvement and dedicated volunteers we will and have made a difference.

Additional adoption info

There will be an adoption application to fill out along with a short interview. Once approved, we will look for the dog that best suits the household and adopters requirements. When a forever pet has been determined, an adoption form will be completed.

All applicants must be 21 years old.

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks upon entering LFLDR's program. During this 14 day period, dogs will not be available for meet and greets.
