Open Hearts Rescue

We are a 501(c) 3, all volunteer group that rescue homeless animals. We provide the necessary medical care & rehabilitation for our dogs to prepare them for their new homes. We also participate in community events in an effort to educate the public on the importance of sterilizing their pets to help end pet over population. Additionally we stress the importance of maintaining vaccinations and well-pet care. We are a foster-based organization and do not have a single 'facility'. All of our dogs go straight into foster homes to help prepare them for adoption. Many are crate trained, housebroken, and started on basic obedience prior to leaving our care. Our goal is to give them the best start possible to make a successful adoption. As a rescue, we have chosen to concentrate on dogs in high-kill shelters. Our goal is to see dogs stay in their homes.
