Rescue FAQs

Our Director, Sue Bergier, retired from being a Santa Cruz sheriff's deputy a few years ago. When she thought about what she really wanted to do, one thought came to mind: SAVING DOGS! What started out as a ROTTI RESCUE has now come to include all kinds of dogs, large and small, hence the name, Rotti & Pals! There aren't many of us, but we work very hard to make sure we help as many dogs as possible. The rest of us just feel as if it is our duty to help those who don't have a voice.
Arizona Desert Rotti & Pals is a small rescue where members dedicate their time and effort to matching dogs in need with just the right home, for the pooch AND new owners! We are a no kill rescue that serves Tucson, AZ and much of southern Arizona.
