The Animal Control Department is responsible for the enforcement, investigation, and prosecution of violations pertaining to the animal control ordinances of Paulding County. The Department maintains a humane shelter environment for lost and unwanted animals, which it cares for until they are adopted, reclaimed by their owner, rescued, or humanely euthanized.

If you have a dog at home, please bring that dog with you in order to see if they will get along with a new friend.

Current Fees:
Adoption Fee: $50.00 for Dogs - $35 for Cats

Applications must be completed in person at Paulding County Animal Control.
