Rescue FAQs

ACE was started to help horses that will otherwise die. We do not take in healthy owner surrendered horses, but we do have great success networking them and finding new homes for the owners. ACE accepts horses in the slaughter pipeline ( race horses and horses posted on Craigs list under meat price) as well as abused and neglected horses. I started ACE Rescue because when I was younger horses were my life, it is now my turn to save theirs.
Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties.

Additional adoption info

We do a site check and semi annual followup visits. Al;l adoption fees for our horses are 300.00 or less depending. The adoption fee is not as important as the best home possible, so we really evaluate the new home and often do pre-adoption trial periods. Our contract has a never ever breeding clause . We do not adopt out our horses more than 200 miles away from our rescue.
