Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (B.U.N.S.)

Adopting families are counseled by a B.U.N.S. volunteer. We help you to select a pet that will fit into your home and life style. After adoption, B.U.N.S. provides ongoing information on care. B.U.N.S. has brochures on rabbit and guinea pig care. A phone hotline provides access to a knowledgeable volunteer. Adopting families receive a newsletter with care information. We offer a monthly class, Basic Bunny and Guinea Pig, that covers husbandry, handling and training. Go to www.bunssb.org to subscribe to the newsletter or check class dates and times. B.U.N.S. adopts to homes in Santa Barbara County, California, but will consider adoptions in Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties as well.
