We are a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to finding loving homes for all our animals, everything we do here is for the animals. We treat, clean, and care for the animals daily. We make sure that they are all well-taken care off at all times. We also have special programs for the animals such as our "dog enrichment program" and "dog walking program".
Save-A-Pet (SAP) is committed to finding forever homes for each animal in their care. Most often forever homes are found through the adoption process. This policy identifies the criteria and guidelines for SAP adoptions. We are located in Desert Hot Springs, California and we are dedicated to finding homes for all our wonderful animals here.

*Large Breeds ages 1-5 years- $95.00
*Seniors 6+ years old- Half the original price.

SAP is committed to providing healthy pets for adoption. As such, each animal will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, disease and parasite free, Felv/FIV tested (felines only) and current on all vaccinations upon adoption.
Save-A-Pet is committed to finding each animal the appropriate home based on their individual characteristics. SAP is committed to eliminating personal bias and/or judgement in the adoption process. Questions asked during the adoption interview have been deemed necessary to completely assess the home situation to determine the appropriateness of the adoption. A monetary adoption fee is required at the time of adoption and will be accepted in the form of cash or credit (debit). Checks are not accepted.
