Rescue FAQs

We are a volunteer run rescue that saves cats and kittens mostly from high kill shelters and gassing pounds in Quebec and Ontario.
T.E.A.M. stands for Together Every Animal Matters! We are a Registered Non-Profit, Volunteer & Foster-Based Cat Rescue based in Toronto (GTA). This not-for-profit organization is set up to provide safe haven for cats while they wait for their “furever” homes. We assist and rescue displaced cats that find themselves homeless, either in a shelter or on the streets. We do not adopt outside of ONTARIO CANADA and limit adoptions to the GTHA.. For those outside our region, please support your local rescues and shelters.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes an adoption application which includes references. After the application is reviewed, then a discussion takes place to ensure that the cat chosen will fit the potential adopter's environment.

Adoption fees are $250 for adults, $300 for kittens and $150 for seniors which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip. All kittens under 1 year require another young cat in the home.

We do not adopt out to people who will declaw or release their cat outdoors. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF ONTARIO UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. WE ALSO DO NOT WAIVE/NEGOTIATE ADOPTION FEES.
