Rescue FAQs

Our mission is to rescue homeless, unwanted cats, provide them with critical medical care, and match them with their forever-family. Our love of animals is why we do what we do. Along with the need to educate and help our community through our thorough pet placements (adoptions) and spay and neuter programs.
We are a small non-profit, home based cat rescue group. All the animals are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. We do not have a shelter, but we host frequent adoption fairs at pet stores in the Gainesville, VA area. Our rescue organization serves the northern Virginia D.C. area and Prince William County, VA. Our mission is to rescue homeless, unwanted cats and dogs, provide them with critical medical care, and match them with their forever-family. 100% of donations and adoption fees are applied to our revolving veterinary accounts, and to provide food and supplies for the animals.

Additional adoption info

http://www.hhfpwc.org/adoption-application.html
An adoption application and contract are required for all pets that we place. Our hope is to find forever families for our furry friends. The application process helps us get to know you and your family and determine exactly what you are looking for in a companion. Like people, animals have different personalities. The more information we have about your home-life, the better match we are able to make.

ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.hhfpwc.org/adoption-application1.html
