Rescue FAQs

Katydid Cat Rescue participates in TNR (trap, neuter, return) activities in San Mateo County. We're contacted by shelters, private citizens, and other rescue groups to catch free-roaming cats for temperament analysis and spay/neuter procedures. Feral cats are returned to their outdoor homes. Friendly strays and kittens are socialized and prepared for adoption into "forever homes."

Additional adoption info

After an initial telephone conversation, our cats and kittens are brought to your home on a trial basis for compatibility. Adoption fees are $60 per kitten or $100 for a pair; fees for adults are negotiable and based on the age of the cat.
