Rescue FAQs

Abandoned Cats Rescue is a completely independent Canadian Registered Charity supported solely by committed volunteers..... We dedicate our time and efforts to the rescue of cats/kittens from local shelters that normally have only 72 hours to be claimed or rescued by a group such as ours. If not, they are sadly euthanized. We also focus our attention on those cats struggling to survive outdoors – the ones that have been abandoned and neglected. Our cats are housed in loving volunteer foster homes until a “forever” home is found. All adoption fees and donations go completely to assisting the cats in our care. They are vet examined, vaccinated as age appropriate, spayed or neutered and treated for any medical needs that are necessary to ensure the health of the cat. We never euthanize animals we can’t find homes for. We believe that there is the “perfect” home for ALL of our cats and they all deserve a chance to be loved forever! Won’t you consider opening your heart and home to one of our many rescued cats/kittens? They are all waiting anxiously for a place to call home!
