Rescue FAQs

We are a home based rescue service which evolved when a small number of fosters from another rescue banded together to form our own. In addition to cats & dogs, we also rescue birds & reptiles. Most of our cats & kittens are rescued from death row at a busy animal shelter. They are fostered in a loving home environment & are well socialized with children, dogs, birds & other cats. They recieve veterinary care accordingly, are vaccinated, wormed & altered where appropriate prior to adoption.

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters are required to complete an on-line questionnaire.

It is mandatory that immature kittens be spayed or neutered within the timeline specified on the adoption contract.

There is a 2 week "honeymoon" period following which if things are not working out the kitty may be returned for 100% refund...( exception is for costs of any special services requested by the adopter )

Kittens fees are $60 which includes a veterinary examination, vaccination, deworming & flea control...the option is $160 which will include the second booster & spay / neuter surgery.

Mature cats are $130 to $150 depending on initial vet costs.
Seniors are $90.

Special rates for more than one cat or kitten. Adoption fees reduced or waived for seniors & pensioners in some cases.
