Rescue FAQs

Companion Critters, Inc., a 501(c)(3), non-profit New Jersey corporation, was founded on September 17, 2000 to help the animals on death row in shelters and pounds. To date, over 600 homeless pets have been saved. All pets adopted from Companion Critters will be spayed or neutered before they are released to new homes. All of our adoptable animals are fostered in private homes, given medical care and are evaluated for their behaviors.
All of our pets are fostered in private homes around the Union County, New Jersey area. We will adopt out within the state of New Jersey and surrounding areas depending on the distance. Please contact us for more information.
