We are a small county-run shelter. If you would like to donate to the shelter, please use the Amazon link in the donation section, or bring items to the shelter. All monetary donations to the Mason County Animal Shelter will be accepted by Mason County Fiscal Court and dispersed through our general fund. Earmarks are encouraged on all forms of donations.
We serve the residents of Mason County, Kentucky only.

Additional adoption info

Thanks to the EnviroFlight Fur-ever Home Adoption Sponsorship Program, the adoption fee is $40 for adult dogs and $60 for puppies under the age of 6 months. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, dewormer, spay/neuter, and microchipping. Please check each dog's profile for sponsored, discounted, and/or $0 adoption fees. If you adopt an unaltered dog, you must agree to have the animal spayed/neutered at the veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible and within 3 months of adoption. We ask that the animal will be kept as a pet and treated humanely after adoption.
