About Ohio County Animal Shelter
Ohio County is the 5th largest county by area in Kentucky. We saw a great need for education about animal welfare and basic care. Our goals are to help with spay/neuter ordinances, to help families in need keep their pets in their home instead of surrendering them, to educate on the overall care of pets in our county, and to help those animals that have been abused or abandoned.
