Rescue FAQs
We are an all-volunteer, federally-registered non-profit organization that was established in 1996.
We adopt our pets to homes about one hour from our central New Jersey location in Mercer County.
Additional adoption info
We provide all social, medical and behavioral assistance to our pets to enable them to be ready for adoption. Adopters contact us and complete an adoption application for mutual suitability. At adoption there is an adoption contract and adoption donation of $125 for cats and $300-$400 for dogs, senior dogs, $100. If a pet does not do well in the new home, the adopter is required to return the pet to Animal Allies only.
