Rescue FAQs

HCPA has been an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit group over 10 years and has been very proactive in the past with transferring hundreds of dogs to other states to new homes with the help of those rescue partners there.. Our current adoptions have been focused in our east Texas area but we do still consider some out-of-state adoptions.
Focused on the animals of Hunt County, TX but offer whatever services we can to other areas.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is a simple one as we want to make it as easy as possible to get you approved for your new family member. Our adoption fees range from $25 - $150 as we do receive some sponsorships on selected dogs. Should ,there be a compatibility issue, the animal is to be returned to us and the adoption fee is considered a donation with no refund.
