Rescue FAQs

I am Morgan Duncan. I, Morgan, have been an avid animal rescuer for several years, working closely with area shelters and rescue groups and rescuing several pets myself. A few years ago I had an pet ReHoming non-for-profit under a different name but had to fold it up after a divorce. I was very anxious to get back in and Rick was more than happy to join me. We have been married 1 year this July 2016 and are very excited to work closely together helping families find good loving home for their pets that they cannot keep. We work very closely still with local shelters, vet clinics and rescue groups to help them market their pets by doing "courtesy posts" and working with them and their Fosters. As we progress, we will be formulating a master Foster list for vetted and approved Fosters in various areas in North Texas. Please share our Facebook page with those you know. https://www.facebook.com/NTxReHomeFoster/ Our website is currently under construction.
The purpose of our organization is to, most importantly, help families in need of ReHoming their family pet, and subsequently, help families looking for a new pet to rescue via adoption. We work closely with families, rescue groups and shelters to help find the best remedy for an animal in need. We are happy to refer a family to a nearby rescue that may have a specific animal they are looking for that we do not have in our family of pets. We serve all over North Texas and can arrange for long-distance pet transport if needed.

Additional adoption info

There is a Marketing Fee and ReHoming Fee associated with our services.

Marketing consists of us placing your pet on our Facebook page, website, here on Adopt-A-Pet and PetFinder. We do all of the screening before arranging a meet-n-greet with the families and pets in need. We will have occasional Adoption Events as well.

Our Marketing Fee (paid by family doing the ReHoming) is $25 per pet to be marketed.

Our ReHoming Fee (paid by the new family that adopts) is $30 per pet, or with bonded pair, charge a reasonable $60
