Rescue FAQs

We are a small, foster-based rescue focused on helping the pets and owners of St. Clair County, MI. Our goal is to lessen the amount of pets needing to be rehomed by offering information on affordable vet services and importance of proper training. We also spread awareness for spaying, neutering, and pet identification. If pets do end up in our rescue, we provide needed care and find responsible, loving, forever homes. Our mission is to find suitable homes for displaced pets, educate the community on responsible pet ownership, and advocate the importance of spaying and neutering.
We take in animals from St. Clair County, Michigan.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Fee:
Dogs- $280 Includes: spay or neuter, rabies, distemper, bordetella, dewormed, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
Cats- $95 Includes: spay or neuter, rabies, distemper, dewormed, and FIV/FELV tested.

Adoption Process:
Interested adopters need to fill out an adoption application. We review the application, call references, and verify pet policies for those who rent. We then set up a meet and greet/home check to ensure the environment is safe and the dog is comfortable with everyone and any other pets in the home. If approved for adoption, the adopter signs an adoption contract and pays the adoption fee. The adoption fee helps cover our cost from vetting, feeding, and other supplies needed for the care of the pet while in our care.
