Saving Our Companion Animals – Fort Bend County (SOCA-FBC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. SOCA-FBC is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of companion animals and promoting responsible pet ownership in Fort Bend County, TX Our 100% volunteer organization helps sick/injured animals, urgent or needy shelter pets, and community animals needing to be rehomed. We render assistance to our local shelters. We believe that becoming a community that cares for its pets starts with Education, Assistance and Accountability. We rely 100% on contributions from the public and your generous support in providing foster homes for the pets in need.

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
